AACell (pronounced "excell") is a consortium of AAC device users in the Central Florida area. The following 5 individuals are the official spokespeople of AACell.

Speedie Edwin "Speedie" Marrero, a high school drop out at the age of 16, taught himself every word in Unity® 128 using the Stepping Through Unity curriculum in less than 9 months. He speaks at local middle schools and high schools.

Robin Robin Sewell is in a work-study program at a community technical school. She works 5 mornings a week with a local speech therapist, helping develop AAC therapy materials, including Stepping Through Unity.

Sarah Sara Brothers has worked as a paid peer mentor and coach since 1991. She currently coordinates the MaxSpeakers, a Central Florida AAC users' group, and helps field test AAC support materials.

Patrick Duncan Patrick Duncan Cole is learning to be a peer mentor and coach. He is active in local user group activities and volunteers at a local elementary school with included students. Patrick Duncan helped test the Play Along Minstickers by working as a mentor with a kindergarten student using a DeltaTalker

Ron Ron Upshaw is a great music lover and helped critique and edit the songs in the Singing-To-Talking songbook.
